Home\About GenV\Careers at GenV Back Careers at GenV Careers at GenV Ready to join one of the world’s most exciting children’s research projects? Work in a dynamic collaborative space, where you can grasp new possibilities. GenV is the largest children’s cohort ever to be planned in Australia, with the aim of solving complex problems facing children today. It hopes to lead to new discoveries, new ways to predict and treat problems, and better or safer care for children. GenV is led from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, one of the top five children’s research institutes internationally. The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), based at the Melbourne Children’s Campus, is the largest child health research organisation in Australia. It includes Victorian Clinical Genetics Services (VCGS) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Institute. Its Vision and Mission is to be a major global contributor to the creation of knowledge and to obtain knowledge to improve the health of children. Through GenV, we hope to reveal how genes, biology, adversity, social systems and services together shape a child’s life, and — through embedding and testing interventions — how to set the best possible path. No other initiative has achieved this at scale. Are you ready to join us? You can check for current GenV vacancies via the MCRI Career Opportunities portal or MCRI listings on Seek.com.au.
