Characteristics of successful Project-GenV collaborations

We believe the characteristics of successful Project-GenV collaborations are that they:

  • Provide value both to the project and to GenV
  • Are open to co-design to ensure clear roles for the project and for GenV
  • Target children whose birthdates fit with those of GenV, and/or their parents
  • Are feasible (eg in methods, time, costs)
  • Do not pose significant risks or burden to participants
  • Help build the statewide GenV data resource (eg add data/biosamples for all participants, or for a whole subgroup meeting a specific criterion)
  • Address a significant problem or gap with evidence-based rationale
